Mount La La
Mount La La (La La Shan) hails from the Northern Mountain Range in Taiwan.
The journey up its endless mountainous switchback is lined with peach orchards and ancient trees, which some say influence the taste of its tea.
Mount La La is a relative newcomer to tea-growing compared to the usual suspects in central Taiwan. Younger tea gardens bring nutrient-rich soil and clean growing conditions. Younger tea makers bring ambition and hard work.
The purity and vibrancy of Mount La La shine through its tea. Aromas of fresh peas and crisp apples are timid but elegant and the finish is long, like the characters of La La Land, shining among the City of Stars.
