About the Job
We are currently seeking positive hard workers to join our team as either full-time or part-time tearoom barista.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in food and beverage, who is highly motivated and extremely organized. Responsibilities for this position include working tearoom service and providing extensive tea knowledge to our guests

The Tearoom Specialist is one of the key components to the Té guest experience, from making tea recommendations to ensuring all aspects of the tearoom are operating smoothly and efficiently.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • At least 1 year of front of house experience and 2 years of work experience in hospitality industry required.
  • 4-year college degree preferred not required.
  • NYC Food handler’s license is a plus.
  • Prior experience in tea or beverage is a plus but not required.
  • Possesses a sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task.
    Ability to take initiative and operate independently without supervision.
  • Possess strong curiosity for product knowledge with strong aptitude for learning.
  • Self-motivated and very detail orientated.
  • Warm, friendly and have a positive attitude.
    Works well in a team.

About the Job
We are currently seeking positive hard workers to join our team as part-time Fulfillment Specialist, available to start immediately. 

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in food and beverage, who is highly motivated and extremely organized. Responsibilities include managing our e-commerce & wholesale fulfillment process, coordinating with our tearoom & snack production team, and managing shipping supplies and tea inventory. 

The Fulfillment Specialist role is one of the key components to the customer unboxing experience. The position is expected to grow into a full-time managerial role.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • At least 2 years of work experience.
  • Available for a 2-year commitment
  • E-Commerce background is preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in tea or beverage is a plus but not required.
  • Possesses a sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to take initiative and operate independently without supervision.
  • Possess strong curiosity for product knowledge with strong aptitude for learning.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage web order fulfillment: pick and pack teas & snacks, assemble items into shipping cartons, print shipping labels, coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups.
  • Organize e-commerce orders, create pack list and manage weekly shipment schedule.
  • Manage tea and shipping supplies inventory.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with snack production team.
  • Coordinate and manage corporate, wholesale and tearoom fulfillment.
  • Gift wrap with handwritten gift notes to standards.
  • Coordinate customer experience between e-commerce & tearoom.
  • Maintain clean and organized working environment, including clean up after the workday.
  • Operate Shopify fulfillment system effectively.

Compensation
Hourly, $18-$24

About the Job

We are currently seeking a positive hard worker to join our team to support our commissary kitchen. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in food and beverage, who is highly motivated and extremely organized.

This is a full-time position and requires to be available on weekends.

Our Ideal Candidate
2 years of culinary experience with a minimum of 1 year working experience in a fast paced, detail-oriented kitchen.
Culinary school degree or 4-year college degree preferred but not required.
NYC Food handler’s license preferred
Has firm understanding of culinary techniques and a thorough grasp on health department rules and regulations.
Dependable and punctual.
Has a sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to take initiative and operate independently without supervision.
Possess strong curiosity for product knowledge.
Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.
Self-motivated and detail orientated.
Experience in Traditional Chinese pastry is a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties
Execute recipes independently from start to finish, ensuring that you work clean as you go.
Follow Té’s recipes and methods of preparation.
Assist with production in the commissary kitchen.
Prep and clean stations in the kitchen.
Maintain awareness of ingredients with high attention to details.
Work collaboratively to help the kitchen run smoothly.
Attend all mandatory team meetings and tasting sessions.
Ability to work weekends.
Arrive on time and ready for your shift.
Monitor inventory.

Compensation
Hourly, $15/hr +
