Emerald Leaf: Organic Frozen Summit

This is the very first tea we tried when we visited Ching-yuan, the organic tea collective who produced this tea. Our host sat in front of the roaster and shared a small sample of his batch in progress. Roasting is a finishing step that can fine-tune the harvest and bring heartwarming nuttiness to the infusion. In this batch of Frozen Summit, we are particular to the aroma of firewood and a gentle piney sweetness that lingers on our palate. This tea reminds us of the Ralph Lauren country barn house, a little bit rugged, very present and a whole lot of luxury.

This roasted oolong is made with entirely organic tea leaves and is certified organic by TOC of Taiwan. 

In support of sustainable tea production and reduce packaging waste, the Emerald Leaf collection will only be available “boxfree”. The 2 oz / 60-gram size was packaged and shipped from origin to avoid repacking.
