You asked, and we finally answered.
To welcome Asian American Pacific Islander Month, we are bringing the rice bowl back. And in true New York fashion, it's not quite as requested. This time, in a jar, so you can enjoy it on your own time and at the comfort of your own home.
Make good rice, heat up the braised pork sauce, and make garlicky cucumbers as a garnish. If you are feeling ambitious, marinate a few tea eggs the night before. Add a pot of Oriental Beauty and a couple pineapple linzers, you have yourself a true Taiwanese style Sunday Supper. What better way to celebrate AAPI month than an assembly of Taiwanese flavors?
5% of the braised pork jar sales will be donated to Heart of Dinner - to support their work in feeding the elderly AAPI communities in need.
Each jar includes
- 16 oz of braised pork sauce ( 2 portions )
