Buddha's Hand

Flavor Profile
Olive leaf, resin, cashew butter
Oolong tea · medium oxidation · light roast
Buddha's Hand is famous for its large leaf shape and resemblance to the size of a human hand. This version is medium oxidized and un-roasted, a rare find as it is usually roasted throughout Taiwan. Enjoyed in peaceful gardens or a quiet corner in the bustling city streets, Buddha's Hand provides a sense of calm. Its aroma reminded us of olive leaf, softly floral, like white flowers and hay. With each steeping, its qualities change and develop. As its palms open it displays savory notes with vegetal overlays.
This is walking on an uneven path, testing taste and a sense of self-discovery.
