Our Packaging

Quality packaging is a key ingredient to a delicious teatime. Whether it's for tea from a remote village in Taiwan or pineapple cakes from our Brooklyn commissary, our top priority is to pack our products in a manner that that preserves optimal freshness. On top of this, we feature eco-friendly materials and festive designs for a joyous unboxing experience.

We've compiled some key information to help you make packaging decisions as you purchase our products either for yourself or as gifts for loved ones.

Standard Packaging

Tea

Our tea is packed in high-barrier metalized foil bags, vacuum-sealed with oxygen absorbing packs when appropriate or necessary. Paper labels with key product information and brewing instructions are affixed to the outside of each bag.

Our sachets are made with petroleum-free corn-based PLA.

Snacks

Our snacks are individually sealed in cellophane wrappers to protect against contamination and moisture, and then packed in resealable bags or recycled kraft paper boxes with cushion pads to protect against breakage. Paper labels with ingredients and key product information are affixed to the outside of each bag or box.

All of our packaging materials are FDA-compliant.

Gift Packaging

When you choose the "gift wrap" option in the cart screen, we pack your teas in white presentation boxes and enclose your selected items together in kraft gift boxes.

We fill the boxes with compostable wood curl without added chemicals or dyes, and finish by wrapping them in sturdy kraft paper adorned with branded stickers and ribbons.
