Seaport Oolong

Regular price $17
Flavor Profile
Bay leaf, rice crackers, salted nuts
Oolong tea · medium oxidation
Grown in the southern tip of Taiwan by the ocean, this oolong is as unique as its terroir. Strong winds, high heat, and salinity from the ocean air make for challenging tea cultivation, but Seaport Oolong has adapted to be particularly resilient. Its origins can be traced back to the late Qing dynasty when a local official commissioned a Wuyi cultivar from Fujian due to his love for tea.
Taste savory notes of bay leaf and rice cracker as hints of the ocean drift out of the teacup. With each sip of this gently roasted oolong, we imagine the ocean fog rolling over the seaport landscape.
Approachable with a touch of the wild, Southern Seaport is like your meddling grandmother: tough as nails but always has a warm hug at the ready.
