Shortbread cookies are the quintessential treat in any serious afternoon tea. They are crumbly, buttery and just a tad sweet, rounding out any caffeine jitters. This Scottish tea biscuit has origins dating back to Medieval times. Shortbread was made with butter, then an expensive ingredient, and was therefore a rare indulgence. It was served only during special occasions – Christmas, New Year's Eve and weddings.
We believe in the simplicity of shortbread, made with only 4 (good) ingredients: unbleached flour, French butter for higher fat content, organic cane sugar and sea salt. Like the olden days, they contain no artificial additives and are baked to order, a true luxury in modern times.
Our Shortbread was featured in New York Magazine as one of the best comfort food they ate in 2020. (We haven't changed the recipe)

Ingredients
Unbleached flour, French style butter, organic cane sugar, sea salt.
Produced in a facility that processes wheat, milk, egg, soy, tree nuts, & peanuts.
Storage
Shortbread cookies will remain fresh at room temperature for 2 weeks from the packing date, or they can be stored up to three weeks refrigerated or two months in the freezer. We are not responsible for delays in shipping once the package has been transferred to the carrier.
