Graceful Hill '00 Vintage

Flavor Profile
Preserved plums, aged oak barrels, licorice
Aged oolong tea · low oxidation
This vintage Taiwanese tea was picked and processed in year 2000 in the town of Yilan, a small village an hour outside of Taipei. It was made with Jinxuan (milk oolong) cultivar, into a lightly oxidized oolong that's bright, creamy and floral like the Graceful Hill.
Decades of aging brought notes of preserved plums and an herbaceous woodsiness to this tea. The infusion is light in body and sweet in finish, a surprising contrast to its dark amber infusion.
Aged tea is gentle in stimulation therefore perfect for late afternoon or evening tea time. Brew it on the strong side to serve as a post meal digestive or steep a large mug for bedtime reading, both are deliciously fulfilling for the soul.
