Cold brewing for ice tea is simple. Since it is steeped with cold water instead of hot, the risk of over-brewing your tea is minimal. Cold brew tea provides less tanins, less caffeine and the overall taste will be much sweeter. We add tea, filtered water and let it sit for at least 12 hours in the refrigerator. We suggest a full day of brewing for optimal flavor. Enjoy your cold brew right out of the bottle.
Weight 8 grams of tea.
Remove the top of the bottle and add the tea to the glass bottom base.
Fill bottle with .75 L of cold water, filtered water. Attach the top of bottle to the glass bottom base. Swirl gently.
Let it brew in the refrigerator for 24 hours. The tea leaves should be expanded by now.
After 24 hours simple shake gently, open spout, and pour over ice. You can choose to filter everything if you fancy but is not necessary.
Enjoy your cold brew tea.
Store in refrigerator and drink within 3 days.
