Green Sanctuary Vert is a Taiwanese green tea that reminds us of wet grass after a rainstorm.

It carries a cashew nut top note, followed by a subtle hijiki taste. It is delicate and soft on the palate. The lingering sweet aftertaste reminds us of autumn air after a rain shower.

The Cultivar

Green Sanctuary Vert is made with Qingxin, or Qing Xin cultivar, which translates to Green Heart or Clear Heart. Qingxin is the most popular tea cultivar for oolong tea making in Taiwan, particularly in high mountain cultivation. Oolongs made with this cultivar is often lightly oxidized.
