Iron Goddess Archetype '13 Vintage
The Tieguanyin cultivar was introduced to Muzha from Anxi, Fujian during the era of Japanese occupation.
In those days, a classic Taiwanese Iron Goddess oolong would be grown in Muzha, its leaves tightly rolled and heavily roasted using only the Tieguanyin variety.
Today, this archetype is hard to find as most farmers opt for lower maintenance variety while cultivation dwindled in Muzha,
This aged version is a rare find. The taste is present in all its characters: toasty, fruity, tangy, and unmistakably sassy. He is the original gangster.
