Four Seasons: Spring
Four Seasons: Spring was a lucky surprise. Discovered by accident in the tea gardens of Muzha in 1985, this enterprising tea variety germinated onto its own tea plant after a Wuyi variety seeded with another tea plant. It sprouts all year round, treating all four seasons like spring, which is how this variety received its name.
We recognize this tea by its signature lilac fragrance and crisp notes of green apples. Long-lasting and easy to brew, Four Seasons is an economical tea for home. Like the favorite Penguin Classic, we return to again and again, this tea drinks well all year long. We like it best on slow, sunny mornings.
