Finally a delicious Taiwanese green tea.

A green tea made from the cultivar best known for making Oriental Beauty, Qingxin da mao cultivar (青心大冇), it has slightly deeper flavors than its Japanese familiars.

This is a small batch experiment from Mr. Hsu, who is a 4th generation tea maker specialized in Oriental Beauty. With richness mirroring that of Gyokuros, with a fuller feeling in the mouth, reminding us of its origins with grass and a sweet seaweed finish.

The flavor is clean, evoking a sense of calm and satisfaction. Like, pedaling your bike, through the dotted trees of Central Park as the green fields begin to blur.
