We've taken out the guess work for you. This is the easiest bottle to make 2-3 glasses of Shaken Tea at once. Choose between Jade Rouge or Oriental Beauty as they bring out the most fragrant foaminess for this style of iced tea preparation.
When tea is shaken, it creates a thick layer of fine bubbles which carry the fragrance of the tea typically harder to detect when enjoyed iced.
This Hario Cold Brew Bottle comes with a built in filter, allowing you to brew loose leaf teas with ease and style. Simply add the tea leaves, fill the bottle with either hot or cold water to brew delicious iced tea. The bottle can go directly into the fridge after brewing. If brewing with boiling water, allow the tea to cool without the lid for 30 minutes before putting in the fridge. With the built-in filter, all you need to do is open the spout cap and pour it like a wine bottle. Great for summer cookouts and picnics.

Shaken Tea Recipe
loose leaf tea 12 grams
boiling filtered water 750ml ( ~3 cups)
cocktail shaker (or a mason jar)
lots of ice
Step by step (video)
Steep the tea for 8-10 minutes with boiling water, refrigerate to cool for 1 hour
Fill cocktail shaker with ice and strain the tea into the shaker
Add simple syrup to taste (Optional)
Shake tea, syrup and ice for at least 33 strokes
Remove the lids and pour (Optional)
Add a twist of orange peel for garnish
Enjoy!
