About #2028 Oolong
#2028, also known as the Stolen Cultivar, is a lighter style of oolong.
Created by Taiwan’s Tea R&D Center, its strong immunity to bugs and diseases makes it an apt candidate for organic tea making. Though its official release was canceled due to jejune politics, a few lucky tea farmers managed to get their hands on it.
This tea tastes like maple and almond butter and smells like a field of wildflowers. It pairs beautifully with a light afternoon snack. It's also known as the "milk oolong cousin".
